PARRJAZZ is a Not For Profit organisation set up and run by musicians, for musicians and music lovers. We support live music, both established and new and emerging artists, in the Liverpool City Region and facilitate music education opportunities.Your support is very much appreciated in helping us maintain a significant number of inclusive free entrance concerts alongside our ticketed events and in order to constantly strive to pay musicians a fair fee .With love and thanks PARRJAZZ X

PARRJAZZ is spread through a variety of venues and with a wide number of local, national and international guests. We invite you to join us for the ride, come and be entertained. We love to meet our audience, so be sure to introduce yourselves afterward!

Currently we our pleased to be in partnership with The Kazimier Stockroom introducing monthly international acts, Ma Boyles every Saturday , The Hope Street Hotel quarterly and The Music Room at the Philharmonic and The Invisible Wind Factory for occasional events .

Over the past few years we have worked closely with Liverpool venues; Studio 2-Parr Street, Phase One, The Jacaranda , Lounge 69, On Air and The Fashion Hub.

Parrjazz takes its name from our original base in Studio 2 at Liverpool’s internationally famous Parr Street Studios, Liverpool (Aswad, Coldplay, Spice Girls).

Parr Street itself is named after slave trader and banker Thomas Parr.

It is with some irony that we acknowledge the historical legacy in the name of Parrjazz considering that we promote music whose origin lies in the expression and protest of African Americans and people who were enslaved.

It is our intention always to book a diverse roster of artists and provide a platform for expression to an inclusive and equally diverse audience.
