Andy Scott is a celebrated figure in contemporary jazz, known for over three decades of innovation as both saxophonist and composer. His distinctive sound blends jazz, world, and contemporary classical influences, earning him multiple award nominations including the prestigious BASCA British Composer Award.
A dedicated educator at the Royal Northern College of Music, Andy is deeply committed to music-making in the local community through the Sandbach Concert Series and regular saxophone workshop days. His career includes work with the Apollo Saxophone Quartet, Group-S (formerly SaxAssault), and collaborations with top international artists.
Paul Kilvington leads the rhythm section with a rich career spanning more than 40 years. A versatile jazz, soul, and pop pianist, he has toured globally and worked with artists such as Cathy Dennis, Jack Jones, Branford Marsalis and Bob Mintzer, with appearances on major TV platforms including Top of the Pops and the World Music Awards.
Paul is also an accomplished composer and founder of the Latin jazz ensemble Amazonia, who have performed at major UK jazz festivals and released their acclaimed album Under The Sun in 2017.
